Owner, Robert DeStefano is second generation general building contractor and 3rd generation carpenter. He offers a lifetime of hands-on experience, fine craftsmanship, and business practices passed on by his mentor and father, Angelo, who started building homes on the Monterey Peninsula in 1957. Born and raised in Monterey, Robert has a local advantage to a network of suppliers as well as resources for providing innovative solutions for today's building needs. In the last 29 years a lot has changed – design, technology, engineering, and the materials we use in building as well as in our daily lives. But, one thing remains unchanged – our dedication to doing the best work for a fair and honest price. We keep an old fashioned attitude about work, and we looking forward to building with you.
"It's old fashioned now, but I do what I say we're going to do. Honesty is plain and simple. That's what I learned from my father, Angelo. My word is bond, and that applies to our commitments, as well. No one ever complained that I had too much integrity."--Robert
WHO WE ARE:
My father taught me that a required commitment to yourself and practice was the most important part of developing the qualities of a true craftsman. The hands-on education I received from him and his experiences could not have been learned out of any text book.
